For the last two years, Klompching Gallery, the contemporary photography gallery in New York City has worked into its curatorial program a summer group exhibit called FRESH. Working in partnership with a distinguished collector of photography as co-curator, FRESH selects notable artworks from new voices in photography. All of the artists selected for FRESH demonstrate a consistent vision, originality, excellence in craftsmanship and a strong viewpoint—the hallmarks that distinguishes what good photography is. In 2012, the selected artists are exhibited at the Klompching Gallery (The Wall), published in BLINK magazine (The Page) and showcased on Flak Photo (The Internet).

This year, Darren Ching (co-founder of the Klompching Gallery) worked with Fred Bidwell (Bidwell Projects), to select five artists from an international call for submissions. The five artists selected are: Martin Bogren, Barbara Ciurej & Lindsay Lochman, Monika Merva, Shawn Rocco and Tabitha Soren.
