2) Brooklyn Bridge Park: White Bird Productions Creative Puppetry

White Bird Productions returns to Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park with Garden Party — a Creative Theatrics Puppetry Workshop, featuring the work of 3rd through 6th grade theater students. Known for its dramatic puppetry, in years past the workshop has brought a 20 foot Walt Whitman speaking his poetry, an under-the-sea extravaganza, and last year’s Beatles songs.

Then you can come back on Saturday (July 21) for the 5th edition of our Video Series curated by Jun-Ah Kim. We have 4 short exceptional videos starting at 7:30. Then stay on for the closing party for “How Women Look” immediately after the first round of video shorts.
Of course if you just want to see the work of the 9 artists in “How Women Look” we will be open our regular hours: Weds to Sat 12 to 6. But that’s it — Safe-T-Gallery has been breaking-in its hiking legs and sipping insect repellent for its annual summer vacation. We will be off to the Canadian Rockies for most of August. But don’t despair, Safe-T-Gallery will be returning with more and better shows than ever in September.
