Gothamist reports that Shake Shack’s newest and second Brooklyn location, called DUMBO Shack, on 1 Old Fulton Street opens today. The first Brooklyn location, Downtown Brooklyn location opened in December 2011. Shake Shack’s blog notes that a special location-specific concrete honoring Jane’s Carousel is featured. The Caramel Carousel concrete features vanilla frozen custard, shattered sugar cone, sea salt, caramel sauce and banana. Another new concrete is the Brooklyn Pie Oh My which features vanilla frozen custard blended with a slice of fresh-made pie from Brooklyn’s own Four & Twenty Blackbirds. Pie flavors will change seasonally—kicking things off is Strawberry Balsamic.

For the wine connoisseurs out there, this is the first location to serve Shake Shack’s signature Frog’s Leap Shack Red and Shack White on tap.

Shake Shack continues its commitment to green architecture and eco-friendly construction. The interior tabletops were handcrafted by local Dumbo-based furniture maker Mark Jupiter, who designs and builds furniture from reclaimed materials. The tables at the DUMBO Shack are made from locally-salvaged factory beams including Heart Pine found in an old coffee warehouse, shaving soap factory, and automotive garage.

Shake Shack Dumbo (1 Old Fulton Street, Brooklyn NY (corner of Water Street across Brooklyn Bridge Park)) is open seven days a week.
