NY Daily News reported this morning that the former Jehovah’s Witness buildings sold to the Kushner Companies for $375 million include committed tenants such as Brooklyn-based curated shop operators, artisanal food purveyors/market, and an assortment of wellness and entertainment providers.

According to the just launched Dumbo Heights website (dumboheights.com), the vision for the 5 inter-connected buildings “is a mixed use urban campus on the waterfront in the heart of the Brooklyn Tech Triangle.” The cluster of buildings between York Street to the North, Sands Street to the South, Adams Steet to the West, and Jay Street to the East will offer over 100,000 square feet of space specifically designed and repurposed for retail use to become the area’s next retail destination, according to the developers.

The commercial rents will start under $60 per square foot and the $100 million rennovation is expected to be open and occupied in the first quarter of 2015.
