Brooklyn Physiotherapy Open House in Dumbo (Saturday, Feb 22, 2014)

BK Physio, Dumbo’s very own physical therapy clinic is hosting an Open House on Saturday, Feb 22nd, from noon to 4pm. Dr. Noel Lozares just returned from preparing several athletes for the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi. Noel has worked with Olympic medalist Julia Mancuso, her teammates World Cup Champion Mikaela Shiffrin, and Resi Steigler. He also worked with US Olympic Snowboarders Kaitlyn Farrington (USA) and snowboarder Steph Magiros (Australia).

Dr. Lozares told us, “We established Brooklyn Physiotherapy here in the neighborhood to deliver individualized, unique, high level care to the community. What sets us apart from other clinics is the combination of our global experience integrated with our understanding of the needs of our patients.”

Noel Lozares, PT, DPT, SCS, COMT is a Physiotherapist for the US Women’s Alpine Ski Team. Dr. Lozares also works with Olympic Medalist and World Champion Snowboarders, Skiers, and elite athletes from other disciplines.

Noel graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s in Molecular Cell Biology and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Columbia University. Noel is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS) and a Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (COMT).
