So…just walked down Water st…btw Jay and Bridge. FILM SHOOT…tow tomorrow night, for a shoot on Thurs. I call 311…useless, xfer me to 84th…guy says ‘if there is a sign, you need to move’. i’m like, i just walked past 6 hours ago and there was no sign…what is the notice? no response. just says i’ll be towed. nice. out of control.

It’s for a commercial being filmed tomorrow on a side of the street that is alternate 830-10 in the morning anyway. FYI, if they tow you for a movie/tv shoot they can only move your car to a legal spot. Legal might mean a spot that otherwise might be off limits to for alternate side. They leave a notice on your window. So, if you trust them to tow your car it will likely be around the corner on Bridge (NO Parking M-T 8-6) or on Front (No Parking Thu) Calling the Precinct doesn’t help because they get no more notice than we do.
