Aegir Boardworks is hosting an art show on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 5pm-10pm (coincides with Dumbo First Thursdays. The show, a photo gallery from Vladislav Borimsky, a Brooklyn based photographer originally from Milwaukee will showcase his collection. Vladislav’s photography is a stark contrast between the landscape of New york city and the beaches of Byron Bay, Australia.
If that’s not enough, there’s free beer from PBR and wine from Blanc & Rouge.

Aegir will be stocking snow gear and will indeed have NOW bindings. If I recall correctly they will have YES, K2 and Arbor boards, K2 and NOW bindings, and Airblaster outerwear.
I am sure there is more but I can’t remember everything they mentioned to me.

We have had an awesome opening summer, with people stopping by to pick up boards, shorts, tees etc. There are quite a few surfers here in dumbo, but we also pull business from the rest of NYC also. For the winter we will be stocking boards from YES, k2 and arbor. For bindings we will be carrying Flux, k2 and NOW. Boots from k2 and Deeluxe, and outerwear from celtek, zeal optics, airblaster and nikita. We will also be servicing our customers with board and ski tunes, as well as providing a pickup for trips up to the mountain!
