  • I’m sure the cookies are good and all but we need restaurants/bars. Where are the Mexican restaurants, the Indian restaurants, the Southern restaurants, the beer gardens, the sports bars? I don’t eat cookies, and certainly not $5 ones. My favorite place, Pete’s, is gone. My wife and I usually go out of the neighborhood to eat now.

  • I concur. It looks like a cute cookie place but it’s the absolute last thing Dumbo needed as a neighborhood.

  • DUMBO lacks a quality strip club

  • I’m excited for OGC, and I know all my friends will be addicted to the cookies. They’re not $5 but even if they were, it’s worth it.

@Elicruz, there are private ones, you just don’t know about them.

  • I went today and the cookies are pretty average, taste similar to high end cookies you can buy in a box at foragers. At $2.50 for 4, $.60 thereafter is pretty ridiculous considering they are the size of a quarter.

  • Checked it out over the weekend. Very cute inside, feels like a nice place to hang out but the selection is disappointing. Im not certain but it doesn’t even seem as though the cookies, cakes, etc are even made at this location. There is certainly no fresh baked cookie smell (had more of a fresh construction smell which was rather uninviting) and the display area is so small it would be amazing if such a tiny selection of cakes and cookies could support this entire store. I hope they expand beyond cookies and start to offer some real food.

  • The cookies are baked at their bakery on Dean Street in Cobble Hill.

I’m pulling this completely out of thin air but due to the way they split up the space, the existing exhaust fan/ductwork went with the restaurant space. I don’t think the corner space can have anything in the way of an oven or stove that would require exhaust venting.

  • Isn’t “quality strip club” an oxymoron?
