Galapagos Art Space presents Get Smart, a new type of lecture series that combines discussions from some of the greatest minds in New York City with world-class entertainment and delicious cocktails. Each evening will feature three dynamic 15-minute lectures, punctuated by performances and cocktails befitting of the evening’s conversation. 3) DAC Presents: Search Engine Friendly Family Feud Game Night

DAC Presents: Family Feud

Join on August 4 as two teams duke it out and discover the hidden underbelly of the Internet! In an update to the traditional Family Feud format, two teams of contestants will compete to guess which questions are most commonly asked through Google. Rev your search engines – winners will be awarded a selection of fabulous prizes!

RSVP to angie@couchprojects.com to ensure a place on a team. Walk-in participation is also encouraged. Feeling shy? Come grab a beer and join the audience instead. The excitement starts at 7pm!

  • According to search engine data, people want to know how these things were done in the old days…. Answers: 1.) How did grandparents have sex? 2.) How did they kill witches? 3.) How did GPS work? 4.) How did they keep chickens?
  • Some other tough questions asked of Google: “What artist sings a certain song?,” “How to compose an angry email?” “What is the opposite of deja vu?” and “How do I compliment breasts without making it awkward?”
