The Dumbo Improvement District presents the 3rd Annual Epic Dumbo Stoop Sale at The Archway on Saturday, June 18 (Water and Adams Streets) from 11am – 4pm.

2) Lights Out! Storytime at powerHouse Arena

When: Saturday, June 18, 4–5 PM
Where: The powerHouse Arena, 37 Main Street (corner of Water & Main St.)

We turn off the lights in our upstairs gallery for an hour of stories in the dark as John Rocco (Blackout) and Paul Hoppe (The Woods) read from their newest picture books. Bring a flashlight! Ages 4-8.

3) Kayaking and Community Rowing

Get out on the water for kayaking and community rowing with the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse at Main Street and Pier 1! Children under 18 must have an adult guardian present. No reservations; first come, first served, so arrive early to avoid the line.

4) Floating Kabarette at Galapagos

5) Great Small Works presents Banners and Cranks Festival of Cantastoria

Bringing together puppeteers, artists and musicians for a summer evening filled with stories and songs. Some of New York’s finest puppeteers join with performers from across the country to unfurl their banners, slide their trombones, turn their cranks and fiddle away, making stories from paintings.
