Toll Brother’s Dumbo Brooklyn development at 205 Water Street began advertising yesterday, both Curbed and Brownstoner reports. The 67 unit condo development will start in the upper $300,000s. Toll Brothers reps say “The homes at 205 Water will reflect both the larger loft-like layouts reminiscent of the neighborhood’s converted warehouses, as well as more traditional high rise condo layouts”. There will be one, two, and three bedroom units and the sales office will open in September 2011. The renderings looks like a loft conversion and realtors we spoke to believe that Toll Brothers’ construction quality is high. With new conversion buildings in the immediate area such as 192 Water Street, 37 Bridge Street, and 201 Front Street loft conversions, it looks like there will be some healthy competition for loft apartments in “East Dumbo”.
