Can anyone figure out why there has been no mention in any of the neighborhood blogs about David Walentas, our supposed “benevolent dictator” and his $150K settlement to a disgruntled buyer who realized DW and 2 Trees had basically lied about the square footage his apartment actually had? Aren’t these blogs supposed to supply interesting news about the neighborhood? 2 Trees’ advertisements have anything to do with this “oversight”, you think?
Feel free to write it up on your own blog, nothing is stopping you.
FWIW, if you’re on Twitter, I posted a link to that story yesterday:

Why no mention on the blog? I was busy. I do post info about Two Trees, even if it’s not so positive for TT. See recent one:
http://dumbonyc.com/2011/01/12/bk-paper-jed-walentas-email/
And the postings about Dock Street that was first mentioned here before ‘big media’ reported on it:

Two Trees is a sponsor on DumboNYC. If you (or anyone) would like to contribute a story or posting, I welcome it anytime. Thanks.

You’re 100% right. I’m wrong. Sorry for the false accusations.
I read about that in the Times and several of the Brooklyn rags-actually was kind of nice not to see it dragged out in here too. I read this because it’s Dumbo specific – hope it stays that way….
