Ken Sutak is a full-time attorney, sometime writer, and for the past several years a dynamic lecturer for URJ-affiliated organizations on the subject of Jewish-themed movies during World War II and its aftermath. He has produced two very popular film poster exhibits for the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion Museum in New York City, Cinema Judaica: The War Years, 1939–1949 during Spring 2007 and Cinema Judaica: The Epic Cycle, 1949-1972 during Spring 2008. He has since been tapped by HUC-JIR to produce a compact traveling version of both shows for the Jewish Museums of Vienna, Copenhagen, and London. In his own right, Ken Sutak is the author of The Great Motion Picture Soundtrack Robbery and the co-author of Cinema Judaica: Unforgettable Images of Jewish Heroes and Heroines in the Movie Poster Art of the Post-War Era, to be co-published by HUC-JIR.
