Pearl Street Triangle Survey

If you weren’t able to attend the Pearl Street Triangle planning session last week, the Dumbo Improvement District has set up an online survey through their website to collect your thoughts on the project. I wasn’t able to attend. For anyone who attended, was there consensus on making the Pearl Street Triangle a reality?

Click HERE to complete a short survey of how you’d like to see at the Pearl Street Triangle developed.

  • I was present at the meeting. It was a waste of time.

  • Why a waste of time? Isn’t it a good thing that the dumbo bid is looking to get neighborhood opinions? But I wasn’t there so I can’t speak for the meeting results.

  • Based on my observation of the meeting the DUMBO BID was not serious about getting neighborhood opinion. They took some time break everyone into groups to come up with ideas, but it was not the best process. They should consider a public call for people to submit their ideas over a period of a few months.
I also believe that the DUMBO BID focus on this small section of road without taking into account the bigger plans of the Brooklyn Bridge Park is short-sighted.

  • Local,

they did ask for the public’s opinion, that’s what the survey mentioned in the headline is for.
