BROOKLYN’S WATERFRONT COMMUNITY MORPHING INTO A SHOPPING DESTINATION

Brooklyn, NY– Two Trees Management Co. announces that BoConcept, a Danish-based retail furniture chain store located worldwide, will be opening in Brooklyn’s trendy DUMBO at 79 Front Street on Friday, December 22nd. BoConcept, known for unique home furnishings and other home décor items, has pinpointed the Brooklyn waterfront community as the perfect location for its first foray into Brooklyn.

BoConcept opened its first shop in Paris in 1993 and has grown to 170 stores located in 32 countries. Currently, three stores are open in Manhattan — in Chelsea, SoHo and Midtown locations.

“We’re thrilled to welcome BoConcept to DUMBO,” said Caroline Thebaud, Associate Director of Leasing for Two Trees Management Co. LLC., who, along with Jason Gerbsman of Welco Realty, represented Two Trees in the transaction. “The area has so many new residents, many of whom are furnishing new homes, and we expect the shop to be a magnet for them. BoConcept joins home furnishing stores –Journey Home, West Elm, Susan Woods, Wonk, Prague Kolektiv and Jonah Zuckerman — as well as clothing boutiques, bookstores and art galleries. With this influx of retail, we expect DUMBO to become a unique and popular shopping destination.”
