Zoe Store in Dumbo Now Open

Previously reported on DumboNYC.com, the Zoe store at 70 Washington Street opened this past week, (a few weeks later than the Nov 1 opening date, but in time for the holiday shopping). Previous commenters weren’t sure if Dumbo residents are able to afford things at Zoe, but time will tell.

Aside from designers listed on Zoe’s website, there are other additional designers such as Diane von Furstenberg, Ella Moss, C&C, Miu Miu, J Brand Denim, Jimmy Choo shoes, Burberry shoes, Nice Collective (men), and many others. Has anyone else had a chance to visit Zoe?

  • Hello everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Cary and I’m the manager of Zoe. We are so excited to finally be open and to be a part of this great neighborhood. I would like to invite you all to come in and have a look around so you can see what we do here. And please introduce yourself because we love meeting our new neighbors.

We’ve been open 2 weeks now and I wanted to respond to a few misconceptions about Zoe that we’ve been hearing from our neighbors. First, we are not a chain. The original Zoe is in Princeton, NJ and has been there for the past 12 years. We launched the website about 8 months ago and this is only our second store front. Also, we want everyone to know that while we are considered a high-end retailer, we have a little something for everyone. We carry everything from Zac Posen to Seven for All Mankind denim, Matthew Williamson to Splendid knits, Pucci to Diane Von Furstenberg dresses. And lastly, we weren’t going to have a men’s section, but since we’ve opened we’ve had many men come in so we brought over some stock from the Princeton store. As the seasons go forward, please continue to check back for more and more men’s as we develop the section into something spectacular.

We hope you’ll come in and see what we’re all about. And if you have any questions or comments, please let us know. Thanks!
