Any insight into why Two Trees is unloading 3 of their units at 70 Washington? These used to be rental units that the sponsor/Two Trees kept and rented out after the building was first converted. Wonder what is causing them to sell now.

Daisy, I think the reason has to do with timing. All these units face the Bridge and with their new project started the view of bridge is about to disappear so they are likely selling now before the view is blocked. BTW, I live in rental unit they are selling (not listed above)

The “B” line faces east, towards Washington Street, not towards the Brooklyn Bridge. So that isn’t the motivation.
The prices for the Two YTrees one bedrooms with separate home office sure make the 5J listing with no real bedroom look very overpriced.
