PossumPaintStudio Fall 2012 Art Classes

Long time Dumbo-based artist Jen Ferguson is teaching fall art classes (both private and group) at her studio at 55 Washington Street for kids aged 4-12. All classes are geared around painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture. Students are exposed to differing techniques and projects are tailored to their interests. These art sessions are meant to encourage children’s creativity while teaching important skills with materials as well as developing problem solving and concentration. They will also be introduced to the work of different artists and techniques as well as have a place to experiment with their own ideas. Class size is usually 4-5 students at most.

I’ve known Jen for years–her stuff is AMAZING. Definitely go to her studio at the festival–it’s always full of interesting people–very cool party.
