Nos Boutique Leases 81 Front Street, Pinkberry Leases 117 Front Street

Crain’s New York reported yesterday that Nos Boutique signed a 10 year lease for 3,200 square feet ($45 a square foot) at 81 Front Street (on the corner of Washington Street). Nos currently occupies a women’s boutique at 117 Front Street and a men’s store on 165 Front Street and will combine the two at their new location.
The location at 117 Front Street will become a Pinkberry frozen yogurt location.
The new shops are planning on opening in October. 50 Washington Street, which is the other half of the ground level (which was part of 81 Front) will be a new concept store by West Elm (3,400 square feet).

while i’m relieved we’re not getting a chipotle, i have mixed feelings about the pinkberry. there are already 2 ice cream placed in dumbo, plus a few ice cream and frozen yogurt trucks.

Dessert is already everywhere in Dumbo. I know people love pinkberry but something more practical for everyday (Chipotle) would have servered the neighborhood better.

Such a talented group! It was so fun to participate, it really got me motivated. I just finished another project from Pinterest that I will be posting about soon…I like the idea of being challenged! I am going to try to challenge myself to do 1-2 projects a month. Think of how many new awesome projects you could have done in a year if you did that!
