reBarnacle Opens Today in Dumbo

reBarnacle, a new restaurant option is opening today by the folks at reBar, the gastropub at 147 Front Street in Dumbo Brooklyn. ReBarnacle will be on the ground floor of 147 Front Street (where reBoy Coffee used to be). Why reBarnacle? “Because it clings to the side of the Pirate Ship reBar.”
According to their announcement on their Facebook page, reBarnacle is a Brooklyn Style “chef’s kitchen” with a seasonal menu that you’ll be able to vote on (voting on reBarnacle.com was not available at the time of this post).
They are offering a free taco today only (one per customer, Monday, July 30, 2012, 11am-) – choice of fish, pork or tofu. They have two fresh granitas (slushes), mojitos (lime and mint), and horchatas (sweet rice milk and cinnamon). The ceviche is prepped to order and is cold and fresh. Chef Leech has tapped his Hispanic heritage for this lighter summer menu.
