Our friends over at PropertyShark.com sent us their latest real estate reports showing the priciest NYC neighborhoods in Q2 2012. Dumbo is #8.

Median sale price doesn’t tell you much because you have no idea what type of properties were on the market in Q2. Example, West Village is undeniably more expensive than Flatiron but inventory turnover is probably lower, especially with the pricer/nice apartments.

RE stats are slippery. Be interesting to see something that is calculated by foot rather than unit.
