Picnic Benches Under The Archway

The Dumbo Improvement District has noted that they have added 10 picnic tables under The Archway and 20 tables at the Pearl Street Triangle. For those looking for a place to sit for lunch during the summer, this is a good place to do so.

I will re-state my comment from earlier in the week…
Am I the only one that thinks the picnic tables under the archway are a terrible idea? The amount of garbage that I now see there on a daily basis is overwhelming. Very sorry to see this happening.

The garbage is something that can be addressed. We have contacted the BID.

I am aghast… I walked by this afternoon and there was a handful of people with the nerve to quietly have lunch on those picnic tables. You can’t trust any of them. Sitting there smugly with their sandwiches and paninis… just sickening. And although there was no garbage on the floor, you could just tell they were plotting to viciously discard a napkin or two and desecrate the whole area. And to top it off, across the street, by the triangle, I saw a cigarett butt! Its totally out of control. We will be putting our apartment on the market immediately. Please inquire.

Fair warning. I like many other dog owners enjoy my dogs more than my children. Just to let you know, I let my shitzu sit commando style on tabletops whenever I’m in the archway
