Just doors down from us, a fine barber opened. My husband had a haircut there, and the barber did a great and detailed job! After his transformation, I stopped in and the shop's female barber worked on me, for an equally good job. Mr. and Mrs. plan on making this our regular neighborhood stop. Sure beats paying $30-ish for two heads, instead of nearly $70 a pop per head at neighborhood salons.

I just got my hair cut there today. All all-around terrific haircut with friendly service at a great price! I'm making it my new barbershop.
This is a great and needed addition to the neighborhood.

I am writing this on behalf of my co-worker — “I just opened an office in DUMBO a few months ago and was surprised that there was not a barber shop in the area. Robert gave me an excellent haircut and was very friendly and professional. I would recommend this place for any guy that is looking for a step above the traditional barber without paying ridiculous prices. I definitely am going to make this my regular place.”

Hi. I would like to share this info with you guys this barbershop in dumbo is a very professional and pleasant place to go. I brough my two boys there yesterday, Robert the barber did a very nice haircut . My kids loved it. Go there and you will not be disappointed.

I have been waiting for an authentic barber shop in DUMBO for over 3 years now… FINALLY I FOUND MY NEW SPOT. This guy comes with amazing experience, and adds a wonderful razor finish with a hot towel massage. Not only will you leave happy… you actually feel refreshed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

They just opened yesterday (7/22/10). I think they're called Barber On Pearl. I got a great haircut for $15 and they even threw in a free shave. I'll definitely go back.

i have been getting my haircut from the guy that is opening this shop for months..he works at a place on Clinton St in Bk Heights. he's great, remembers what you like, now i just sit and he does his thing, no need to specify. its an old school place, no fanciness, just a good cut, fast and inexpensive ($15ish..) great addition to the neighborhood.
