Pedro’s Outdoor Patio is Back
May 4th, 2010

Remember last summer when Pedro’s patio was shut down by the city for not having the proper permits? A disgruntled resident (assuming) sent the city an anonymous tip that Pedro’s was selling alcohol on the sidewalk without a permit. After almost a year later, and “thousands of dollars” spent, Pedro has it’s permit and their outdoor seating is now open. As per the asylum.com post by Brian Abrams, “this is good news, of course, for the Dumbo drunks to, once more, have an actual place to swig back Tecate without having to resort to the four other boozy haunts, all of which are unintentionally cavernous and without a fixture you wouldn’t want to fuck with named Rosie.”

A win for lousy food every where.
The worst Mexican food will once again escape into the outside world.
Too bad for all of us.
Tough having give taco bell nachos a run for the money. Then losing.

Mexican food is like sex. Even bad sex is good sex just like bad Mexican food. Or maybe bad Mexican food is like riding a scooter. It's fun until somebody sees you.

Generally I agree Loose, but not with ol' Pedro. It's inedible. Last time I tried it I almost threw it at them. Wish it wasn't so. Its such a cool little joint. But I'll be back to drink warm beers on the street!
