Summer Festivals in Dumbo 2010

The summer festival season has started in Dumbo Brooklyn. That means there are events, artist openings, and annual festivals happening almost every weekend through end of September. While events occur almost daily at Dumbo’s (or nearby) venues such as PowerHouse Arena, Galapagos Art Space, St. Ann’s Warehouse, Smack Mellon, Dumbo Arts Center, Bargemusic, Brooklyn Bridge Park, 111 Front Street galleries, and many more, below is a list of upcoming annual festivals in Dumbo:
Bent Festival (bentfestival.org): April 22-24- BKLYN Designs (bklyndesigns.com): May 7-9
- New York Photo Festival (nyphotofestival.com): May 12-16
- Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival (brooklynbodega.com): July 6-10
- Dumbo Arts Under the Bridge Festival (dumboartsfestival.com): Sept 24-26

ok Dumbo natives i need help! I am a volenteer for the Sean Casey Animal Resue in Brooklyn NY and we want to set up an adoption event in the area. were thinking a doggy fashion show!!!! i know there are alot of events that take place there and because of the many animal lovers i believe it would a complete success!!! Not to mention how excited i am to make this event happen!! any idea on who i could contact?

check with nycpet on pearl st…the owner there works with the dumbo dog run crew, who can help!
