Dumbo Muffin NOT DUMBO Muffins

We posted about Dumbo Muffin (the cafe) before and how it’s unrelated to the Dumbo Muffins wholesale business. Despite the similarity in the name, the Dumbo Muffin cafe opened a few weeks ago. We haven’t had a chance to try the cafe yet. Has anyone tried and if so, how is it?

Meh, not so good. Staff doesn't seem to have a clue about their offerings. I REALLY want this place to succeed, so fingers crossed they get their acts together. It kind of reminded me like a couple of young kids running a lemonade stand…

Sandwiches are good but skewing slightly small at their prices… leaving one a bit hungry. Muffin was pretty workmanlike for a place with “muffin” in the name. Room for improvement. Great location so I'm sure they'll get a chance to make it.
