Fix for Fumes at 133 Water St

Remember the issue we posted on the potential carbon monixide issue last year for 133 Water Street? According to Curbed, the building next to it (18 Adams Street (photo) extended the chimney by 5 stories so the noxious fumes are not entering the apartments next door.

The chimney is coming off in few months since the next door building is shutting down the boiler that causes the noxious fumes..

133 Water–not 18 Adams extended the chimney, as it was their mistake in the first place for developing plans to build an apartment building right next to a chimney that could potentially (and did, indeed) blow noxious fumes into the apartments . The chimney will be taken down in the future because 18 Adams will be adding floors onto the existing building for a new apt. building. Bye bye view.
