A bullet was shot into our living room in the wee hours of the morning, piercing a window and ricocheting off walls in our hallway. I will not say where we live, because our building management is being very accomodating, and I do not want to cause them any trouble. It seems based on the bullet's path that it came from the roof of one of the housing projects and given their distance and the large size of the bullet apparently came from some type of high powered riffle! I have never felt unsafe here, and am still completely shocked. I love DUMBO, but it will never be all that it can be as long as those unsightly towers and the irresponsible individuals who reside there continue to make poor and dangerous decisions!
