We love Dumbo – lived there for a spell in 1995 and have enjoyed watching it grow and develop into the lovely arts neighborhood it is now.
We also love Halcyon Records

The MTA capital program should include passive sound cancellation for elevated tracks throughout the city.
Communities outside NYC will build miles and miles of sound barriers along highways and railroad tracks. It’s insane that elevated trains in the outer boroughs have absolutely nothing like this and often pass within feet of residences.

Nice ideal, but unlikely given that no one wants to pay for the MTA capital program.

This video looks like it was filmed from roof of 133 Water St @ Adams, no?
@dumbostreets: The MTA doesn’t have enough money to keep trains running, let alone *quieter*
