From Gelf Magazine, The Geeking Out speaker series will return tomorrow (Thursday at 7:30pm) in Dumbo to prove that sex isn’t just for fun anymore. A panel of experts will discuss the science of sex and attraction at JLA Studios (63 Pearl St. (between Water St. and Front St.)) that features the work of local artists. What’s more, guests can compete for free drinks in Gelf Magazine’s famous Real or Onion quiz, which asks contestants to determine if headlines are from “real” newspapers or from the pages of The Onion.

Geeking Out is back! Gelf’s monthly science reading returns to JLA Studios in DUMBO, Brooklyn on May 21st at 7:30 pm. This month, we’ll be discussing the science of attraction, love and sex with experts including: Thomas Maier, the author of Masters of Sex, the biography of sex researchers Masters and Johnson; and Anne Machalinkski and Christie Nicholson, the reporters behind the Science of Sex website. The work of local artists will be on display as well.
Geeking Out will be held Thursday, April 21st, at 7:30 pm (doors open at 7:00 pm) at the JLA Studios art gallery on 63 Pearl St in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn. Admission is FREE. Drinks will be available.
