Let me tell you about the 800 pound gorilla, it is called the economy, which keeps taking nose dives, so much so, the head of Freddie Mac CFO has committed suicide. You people are living in a fantasy, the fantasy or hope that 'things will get better'. We are entering another great depression but 'spend spend spend' is still the status quo.

Have you notice all the new construction? Have any of you bothered to ask where are the tenants for this building, let alone all the others in the area are going to come from- NO. You are delusional to think this will get built when even Silverstein has pushed the estimate of the freedom tower by decades, why? NO TENANTS! The economy is in shambles and you people refuse to see that. Now when the time comes to break ground and TT realizes they will build this at a loss for themselves, watch your tower disappear.

So ask yourself, 'Brooklyn Love' (an oxymoron as you don't love brooklyn), why would a developer build something that will cost him more than what he will make?

No jobs equals no tenants which means no profit, it means a loss. Construction jobs which are the only thing this building will produce will be a temporary fix and I am sure the non union workers won't be able to afford the rent.
