A local designer's cooperative would be good.
You can fit quite a few 8'X6' booths in the place. Local artisans that produce some fine clothing, jewelry, and art could more easily afford the divided rent costs.

I heard something about a UPS store coming to the site.

Food has never really done well there and I've seen BIG rats in that place at night from the window on Front St. when it was D Space.

Thanks for the info. I would have thought putting up a cellphone tower would require some type of permits and/or public notice/hearing. Guess not.

Since we are talking about this building, has anyone heard anything about the rumor going around the Guttman is planning to install cellphone towers on top of the building? Just curious if there is any truth to this.

This is the part where you kind of….. “make a point”, ya know?

Unless your point is that the Guttmans will try to burn down the building they’ve just invested millions in renovations on, or evict the high-rent paying commercial tenants which half fill the building now…..in which case you should probably just keep quiet because you’ll make yourself look silly.

Taco Bell+KFC+Pizza Hut would only attract more people from the projects. Giving rise to crime over here. It’s bad enough they come into the neighborhood because of that liquor store on Jay.
