Dia de Muertos Celebration at Hecho en Dumbo
October 31st, 2008

Dia de Muertos Party this Saturday, November 1. Dia de Muertos, or “Day of the Dead,” is a Mexican celebration that takes place on November 1 and 2 in which family and friends come together to remember, and to celebrate, the lives of loved ones who have passed.
Hecho en Dumbo invites us to celebrate this Mexican holiday. Beginning at 8pm, the party will feature costumes, special cuisine, and a trans-global mixture of music ranging from psychcumbias and Mexican soul to Balkanmundial beats, courtesy of DJs Joro-Boro, Anton, Chris, and Selector Monobichi, plus gore visuals by Celeste.
