84 Precinct Council Crime Stats, Week of Aug 11, 2008

The next 84 Precinct Community Council meeting is in September. [Update: They typically do not have Community Council meetings in the months of July and August.]
Given the recent increase in car break-ins and muggings in the area, please continue to voice your concerns with the Precinct by calling 718-875-6811 or 311 if you witness any crimes, break-ins, or have any concerns, to help your fellow neighbors. Each call gets recorded as a record and used for statistics to mobilize resources. Several residents have reported an increase in number of officers patrolling Dumbo and Vinegar Hill in the past week and have noted that the 84th Precinct has been very responsive to the community’s calls.
The 84th Precinct covers these residential areas: Brooklyn Heights, Dumbo, Boerum Hill, Vinegar Hill and the Farragut Residences.

I am very concerned to hear about a triple shooting?!?! just a couple blocks away. Has anyone else heard about this?
