around 3:37 of the clip, where the officer pulls over Al Pacino, check out all the broken windows in the building behind the officer. That building is now Smack Mellon. What a change!

quid pro quo comes to mind. the DNA needs to require that production companies make a donation to it's coffers. film crews are very disruptive (speaking as a former film professional) leaving trash everywhere, signs taped to trees/lamp posts, carting in their own food and not supporting the neighborhood financially. it's a very unbalanced use of our hood.

Just as a sidebar. The same scene exists at 1:05 and 2:04. One with the dumpster and one without. Not that I pay attention to that kind of stuff.

Great- but alt side parking rules should be suspended on those shooting days

Any ideas how we can get the city to cooperate on this?

around 3:37 of the clip, where the officer pulls over Al Pacino, check out all the broken windows in the building behind the officer. That building is now Smack Mellon. What a change!

In the clip of Scent of a Woman - At clip position 0:00-0:02, you can see the 1 story building that used to house Front street Pizza. We used to go to raves in the sub-basement of that building. It was more than 10 years ago.
