I’ve been there about 12 times, and they’re well-stocked and know their stuff. Plus they’re friendly. I just want them to stay open until 9:30 pm.

I just wanted to say that Christos & his team recently went way above and beyond for me- at their insistence. I really appreciate how hard they are working to meet the needs of the neighborhood (a rarity these days unfortunately). As a long time Dumbo resident watching the good and bad changes around here- this one is definitely a benefit to the community.

They’re sort of open. I don’t know if it’s official but the door was unlocked on Saturday and I went in and there were people there setting up. They let me buy a card for a wedding I desperately needed. And they were really nice. They have everything, from “drug store” brand products to really high end salon stuff. And the owner said if there is something you’re looking for that they don’t have, ask and he’ll get it.

Pedro’s is awful. Went there for the first time a few weeks ago after hearing some positive comments. My wife ordered the veggie burrito. It contained nothing but rice, beans, lettuce and tomato. Pathetic. My beef tacos tasted so nasty I had to throw them out. As for D-Space, why don’t they ever have any merchandise on their shelves? Not sure how they are making enough money to pay their lease. Unless Smokey and Crackey are providing some financial support.
