The 11th Annual Dumbo Art Under the Bridge Festival on Saturday packed the streets of Dumbo with visitors. On the surface, the area had a street fair feel to it, with outdoor food vendors at Front Street Pizza and Foragers, sidewalk sales, and of course Dondi the elephant performing for a large crowd at Water and Main Street. This is a celebration of the arts, so the highlights are the outdoor art installations, performance art scattered on every block, lobby/elevator art, and of course the chance to meet the artists who graciously open their doors to the public. Sunday (today) is the final day of the art festival. Below are some of the outdoor scenes from Saturday:

There was a great performance art happening on a couple of corners. Reminded me of the fluxus street performnances with Ben Vautier and Alison Knowles. http://emilyharveygallery.com
