New Building Planned for 77 Bridge Street?

An email tip received from a “Jimmy” about 77 Bridge Street where Los Papis Restaurant is located:
“Construction workers at 77 Bridge Street (the current location of Papi’s) have been “testing the soil for a new building” this week. New condo anyone?
Does anyone else have more details about this?

The plans designed by Karl Fisher and filed on June 29 for a seven-story, 70-foot tall, 16,000 square-foot building with eleven units were disapproved by the Department of Buildings (DOB)on July 17. Really, is the DOB website that difficult to navigate? …or do you just prefer to have other people do your work for you?

Mr./Mrs. Secretary,
You’re hired! Yes, thanks for the info. There are good tidbits on the DOB site. But I just update the site on my spare time; While I try not to seem ‘lazy’, I do my best with it along with other activities going on in life. I know, no excuse, right?
This site isn’t work for me (the $2 per day google ads isn’t quite enough for my rent, and almost pays for the hosting fees). The great part about blogs is that it’s an online community, so people like you contribute as much (and more) to the site as I do. Thanks for looking up the info for the rest of us.

Only later did I see the link to BIS. Go two drills deeper; click on Jobs/Filings down towards the bottom left, then click on the recent filings. I think you can link to the actual filing … let’s try (using Tiny URL for brevity):
