Dumbo Historic District to Be Calendared Today

The proposed DUMBO Historic District will be calendared today, Tuesday, July 24th by New York City’s Landmark Preservation Commission at 1 Center St at 9:20 am. Calendaring is the first step towards the designation of a building or area for landmark status by the NYC. There is no public comment until the first hearing on Sept 18.

speaking of hearings, wasn’t walentas scheduled for a hearing on his proposed building by the bk bridge at some point before the end of the month? what’s going on with that?
