Gridskipper compiled a list of watering holes in Dumbo. Aside from the 7 mentioned below, there’s also Dumbo General Store and Rice’s Low Bar:
“DUMBO, for those in the know, stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass, which explains its elephantine nickname and the numerous pachyderm statues darkly lurking in every watering hole. Not yet a destination for most tourists, DUMBO still has a small neighborhood feel (though it’s rapidly losing that to the rapidly rising condos in the neighborhood). Still, it has some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, and it’s a great place to ward off those pesky delirium tremens.”
