An opening reception will take place at Seed Gallery for the artist Francesca Ceccarelli on Thursday, May 10, 2007, 6-9pm. The exhibition, titled “births – a conversation of paintings” will be shown through June 3, 2007.
“Francesca Ceccarelli is an Italian artist born in Florence. Her work can be viewed as a relentless search of light and enlightenment. She penetrates within, seeking to find, a moment, a time, perhaps a place of solace, and the peace that subdues confusion. With close analysis of her paintings, your eyes are wheeled to a definite moment, and then travel to various destinations around the canvas, guided by either very organic lines or pure symmetry.”

Was Ms. Ceccarelli’s father an artist? I have a small paining with that name on it given to me by my cousin when he traveled to Italy in the 70′s.
