The Hidden Spa in Dumbo

The Citysearch Fashion Blog has an entry about the “secret Dumbo spa”, which many readers of DumboNYC have known about since the beginning of the year. It’s called Pretty Inside (prettyinside.com) and is on the second floor of 147 Front Street (walk past Retreat and Rebar). Here’s what NYC Citysearch blogger Katie Heffernan had to say:

Fans of the former Atlantic Avenue nail salon Polish may undergo some deja vu: Pretty Inside, new as of February, is its bigger and better version. Everything about this spa is cute, from the little yellow tote your robe and sandals are presented in, to the chocolate chip cookie snacks that arrive already split in half. As for the treatments? Pretty impressive, though they can be on the pricey side. A Gold Standard Facial (the basic) runs $135 for 70 minutes; bumping it up 60 bucks gets you the 85-minute Deluxe Facial with an extra-special, suited-to-you mask and paraffin mitts filled with super-hot wax that molds around your hands to moisturize oh-so-well.

To find Pretty Inside, just walk up the steps above Coffee Box, the coffee shop, and head straight back–without getting distracted by the comfy couches, delicious espresso and fine art.
