New Two Trees Management Office to Open on Washington Street
March 29th, 2007

The New York Observer reported today that Two Trees Management, the real estate firm owned by David Walentas will be opening their first sales office:
Big news in Dumbo! David Walentas’ Two Trees Management will soon open Two Trees Real Estate, the firm’s first general real-estate sales office. The office, set to open by early May, will broker listings in Two Trees’ developments as well as in other projects.“There were so many calls to the main Two Trees office for listings in Dumbo that this just made sense,” Asher Abehsera, Two Trees’ vice president of sales and marketing, told The Real Estate on Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. Walentas’ firm basically created Dumbo whole-cloth as a residential neighborhood starting in the 1990’s, and he has expanded his development into other parts of Brooklyn, perhaps most notably with 110 Livingston in the borough’s central area.
I talked to the folks at Two Trees who confirmed that the new office will open in the former Overpass Flowers location on 65 Washington Street. Since Overpass Flowers closed as first reported by fellow Dumbo blogger Brooklyn Enthusiast in January 2007, Two Trees is looking for a “high end florist” for the neighborhood. Any upscale florists Dumbo should bring in?

I heartily recommend Flora (http://www.florany.com/), a fantastic Soho-based florist. Gorgeously innovative work from those folks.

The problem with that florist was that the only aspect of the place that was high-end were the prices.

I LOVE Seaport Flowers on Hicks St. in Brooklyn Heights. It would be amazing if they opened up a satellite location somewhere in DUMBO, but until then I guess we have to live with the deli flowers from Peas & Pickles.

you mean there will someone else beside lindsay in DUMBO !
About time! and we should boycott peas & pickels for thier outragous prices with their brooklyn rent! & they owned the old flowershop that closed down BTW- they just moved it in the store instead of paying extra rent. did you know that they charge alot less for most of their products in their BH location than in the DUMBO Loc. For instance cigs were 6.80 in BH while they where 7.50 in DUMBO whats up with that- Price gougers!
