The only people who have bothered me are the local beggers asking for money. I have felt nervous about my safety quite a few times and I always watch my back. I've heard multiple reports of people getting mugged on Bridge Street in the past few years. I avoid walking near the Farragut Towers in fear of getting shot randomly. Remember the old ladies that got caught in the crossfire not too long ago? I hope that I don't sound like a paranoid fear monger, I'm just being realistic. They still had a number of units for sale. And, he also said that they were selling parking spots in their garage for $55,000 a pop, with most of the spots already sold. Wow.
