Vista on Vinegar Hill Progress Report (11/30/06)

I posted the Vinegar Hill townhouse item yesterday, and since I was there, I also stopped by The Vista. It’s been over two months since we checked in on The Vista at 206 Front Street in Vinegar Hill. According to Streeteasy, 21 of 31 units (67%) have been sold. Corcoran has the remaining 10 units on the market. The townhomes across from the Vista are nice, and although on Front Street, the Vista condos are in a quiet neighborhood.

The common charges look extremely high… especially since these are condo’s…

[...] Dumbo blog Dumbo NYC ambles over to Vinegar Hill, that time warp feeling hamlet north of Dumbo, to take a look at things this week. First, there’s The Vista condo on Front Street, which is reportedly about 2/3 sold with no significant PriceChops noted. Then, there’s the case of two Vinegar Hill townhomes at 100 and 102 Gold that are being sold as development site package for $2.5 million, though the website seems to indicate an initial asking price of $3.2M, which would be signficant PriceChoppage. Speaking of Ye Old Price Axe, they’re right across from Good Old 99 Gold, where after an orgy of PriceChopping things don’t seem to have been chopped too much more deeply. This place is almost sold out now. Only two places left. Once these folks move in it could help push the remaining places at 99 Gold. Vinegar Hill could be in for a rapid gentrification.
