Thanks for the info! I didn’t know the area has so many galleries. Seems like Dumbo has a lot going on in October. Don’t forget the Dumbo Arts Festival on 10/13 weekend. Do you have a listing of all the galleries in the area?

try Two Trees website: http://dumbo-newyork.com - go to Neighborhood and then cultural. it lists many of them.
in general though - there’s Smack Mellon at 96 Plymouth, Dumbo Arts Center at 30 Washington Street and at 111 Front Street, there are 12 galleries on the 2nd floor, including Wessel & O’Connor, Underbridge Pictures, Nelson Hancock, Howard Shickler, 5+5 Gallery, Henry Gregg Gallery, Gloria Kennedy, Safe-T-Gallery, Sankaranka & S.e.e.d.
Then there’s Jan Larsen’s at 63 Pearl & Spring Gallery at 126 Front Street.
Finally there are a number of artists in many of the buildings in Dumbo & Vinegar Hill who will have open studios during the art festival - look for a map and flyer in the next week or so around the neighborhood.
